I had a wonderful holiday celebrating my cousin's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony and we danced the night away.

We're about a week away from summer and we all know the fun outdoor events that includes. I've made it a tradition to go to Yankee and Mets games with my brothers. I love to throw on light, easy and fun pieces as my game day attire.
I'm a huge Yankee fans since I laid my eyes on the 4 most legendary sports quartets that ever walked the field- admirably known as the Core Four. Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Andy Petite and Mariano Rivera molded my childhood. Therefore I rock my pin stripes with pride. My brother is the most passionate Bronx Bomber allegiant I've ever met and sheds a tear talking about those Core Four days- but don't let him know I shared that.
Back to game day style, needless to day, I wait in eager anticipation for Yankee and Mets baseball. Fanatics has a super cool collection of baseball caps to get you ready for Game Day. I added a flannel shirt to the collage to tie around your waist and eventually wear when the temp drops. Plus, I hardly leave home sans my drink tumbler, staying hydrated!

I attended a super enriching media event at Vox Media this week. I left more focused and passionate about completing creative projects. This event was hosted by the Center of Communications in conjunction with NYU.

Happy Spring! I've been so blessed to find awesome babysitters as of late. That means more date nights and girl time. My post-baby weight loss has been a very slow and uphill struggle. Largely due to my cupcake addction sweet tooth. I'm doing a 21 day fast from junk food; this will hopefully give me the boost and motivation I need to get back on track. I'll keep you posted on the progress.
In other news, I was super pleased with my skin-tight date night dress I was able to squeeze into. Asos.com has all the amazing deals and unique steals for everything spring!
Anyone kicking desserts cravings? How do you keep them at bay? I'm more of a moderation person as opposed to cold turkey. Would love to hear your tips!

Happy Friday Everyone!
We can finally exhale and let our hair down after this long week and enter this 3-day weekend! Are you ready for Valentine's Day? I'm not the V-Day grinch but we're doing it super low key this time around. Don't get me wrong, I would love to get a box with shiney diamonds in it- (ahem, 5 year-wedding ring upgrade). But, with the amount of time Kirk spends working and away on weekends, all I really want is TIME. So we're doing brunch and spending loads of time together. Yay, can't wait!!
So I've been trying to get serious about workouts and healthy eating lifestyle. I purchased a FitBit and upgraded my Polar HRM watch. I went to a hard-core spin class at Cyc Fitness on Astor in the City. The gym is exquisite, the instructors are so skilled and talented and the music is so Live!
C'mon our instructor JessaLyn was spinning and on the drums!! That class was so invigorating and exactly what I needed to get over the hump. Classes are usually $25!
What classes or fitness programs are you doing to get you out of a workout rut or to take you to the next level?
I wanted to add something interesting to my Dressing room so I thought I would add a "backsplash" to my shelves. I bought this wrapping paper from TJ Maxx for 2.99 and I just taped it to the wooden shelves. I should've added a before and after. :/
Any tips on little updates to add a little pizazz to your rooms?
