Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
I hope you had a lovely holiday, Christmas & New Years with awesome memories for years to come. This year my hubs and I stayed home for Christmas and went to church to ring in the New Year. My mother in-law came over and cooked us authentic Jamaican dishes. It was great and more fun bonding with her in the kitchen and in our 1st home.
My mom asked me today what was my New Year's resolution and I told her I didn't have one. She looked at me with a blank stare like I had 'loser' written on my forehead. I know that New Years' resolutions can be productive because you're setting goals and making improvements. I just never thought about mine for 2013.
Am I the only who hasn't created these famous resolutions? What do you think about New Years' Resolutions?
All I know is that this year is the greatest year I'll experience in my life by far. I'm so full of faith!

ReplyDeleteThe way I see resolutions are as intentions and adding to the list I already produced last year. I think that a new year, however, is the most renowned time to start on goals or to start tackling the goals you already have because it's the beginning of a new cycle of seasons...a new 365. And that new beginning can be refreshing.

Hey Pretty! That was so beautifully said. I'm totally gonna quote you on that one if you don't mind. I believe in writing down your visions and making them plain. Great way of executing and feeling great when you look back and see what was plan and brought through to fruition. This is our year to see every dream and desire become a reality.
