October Celebrations & Reflections

October has been a wonderful month full of celebrations. My husband and I just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary (woot!) and my brother and his wife are celebrating there's as well. Not to mention, my brothers and I all celebrate our bdays in October. My oldest brother and I have the very same bday but he's 3 yrs older than me. We're like half twins (makes no sense but you get the idea...)

This year I will be turning 28 years young this Friday the 25th and I'm just immensely grateful. I'm grateful for where God has brought me and happy I'm not who or where I used to be. I think a word that could best describe how I feel would be content. Content not to say, I'm remaining stagnant but contentment in the sense that I'm satisfied with my portion and what I have. I feel free that I don't have to compare my life to anyone else's life and it feels liberating. As I focus on the path that lies ahead, I'm more confident than ever before. Obviously there will be days when you want a dream to come to pass so badly that you might find yourself gazing else where. But I'm reassured and reminded each time that He who began a good work in me is faithful to complete it. Then I get back on track and focus on what I've been called to do. 

I encourage you to embrace your place of grace and who you've been called to be. No one can fit and complete that role better than you. Everything is made glorious in it's perfect time for those who persevere with determination and wait patiently.
